M E R A K I

Meraki describes doing something with soul, creativity, or love - when you put "something of yourself" into what you're doing, whatever it may be. This is how I feel when I create art. My art is another side - another part of me that I share with the world.

There are 3 main things that are apart of my art process:

​

Storytelling - when creating a piece, it must have a beginning, middle, and end. Each figure or object has a part to play and connects the theme/subject together.

​

Color - It can represent different emotions. By using that I am able to establish a mood, a feeling, for the viewer to familiarize themselves with and connect them with the piece.

​

Soul - to be in tune with myself, with my mind and my heart, is the key to bring my thoughts and ideas alive.
